This is me...

When they give you 100 words to "tell me about yourself" how are you even supposed to start? After 20 years (almost 21 woo) of living, how can I define who I am in five sentences. I have the answer for you. I CAN'T. So, this is where the blog comes in.

Along with mainly professional work, this is my new place to vent about the struggles of college life, my dreams and ambitions the hundreds of adventures I plan to take before I die, and probably some stories about my dog, Finn! So here goes a whole lot of nothing...

If you know me, you know me as the nice girl (says three dependable sources, thanks mom, dad and Finn!). I rarely say no, and because of that end up missing meals and sleep just to be running around doing various meaningless tasks. But I never said I hate it. I love having a full schedule and I love interacting with and meeting new people.

I'm an aspiring TV News producer hoping to work in New York or LA, even though I don't consider myself a city person. I have dreams of being the next Guiliana Rancic, or Ellen Degeneres or at the very least producing some of their shows.

At Elon, I get plenty of practice putting on live shows as I am a producer for the campus's sole news source Elon News Network. At ENN I not only get to produce shows but I also anchor some of the live broadcasts. Check out the videos section of my website to see me in ~action~. Elon has given me a hundred of opportunities and counting so thank goodness I have some more time on this beautiful campus.

In my limited but available free time, I love going on runs, catching up on my favorite TV shows and most importantly spending time with my friends and family, preferably over a yummy meal. I've got the biggest sweet tooth in the world and can't say no to candy... ever! If you want to please me, I accept Now and Laters, Rolos and Peanut M&M's.

The biggest piece of information you should know about me and what you might not have picked up in this blog post, is how much I love to joke and make people laugh. I feel infinitely better after a good laugh and love having others feel the same way. I strive to enjoy every day I have on this earth because one day we won't be here, so in the words of my high school Latin teacher, Carpe Diem!

I'm going to leave you with a picture of Finn, because he makes everyone happy!

Bye for now!

xoxo Caroline
