Woman Kidnapped, Rescued But Bruised

Early November, Sherri Papini, a California resident, was kidnapped while on a run. The LA times reporter on her reunion and rescue after being chained and beat for over three weeks. Papini was found and while she suffers from severe bruising and a broken nose, she is safe and with her husband and two children. Officials are looking for the two women who captured and abused Papini after she described these women as having thick Spanish accents.

After seeing this headline, I was immediately taken back by how two women kidnapped this middle aged woman. Typical kidnap cases include older men and young children, so I'm most interested in understanding the motive.
