It was cloudy and I fell asleep, but lucky for me, the brightest moon since 1948 is in orbit for the next couple of hours. CNN reported on the Supermoon, the brightest moon until 2034.

Historically, the November moon is called the Beaver Moon because of the time of year when fur trappers hunt these animals. Bright moons occur every 13 months, but a supermoon occurs when the moon is full on the same day it is

closest to Earth. According to CNN, a supermoon is typically 14 percent bigger and 30 percent brighter than most full moons.
